BOLTON, ONTARIO (Jan. 24, 3:10 p.m. ET) -- Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. will sell Injectoplast, the beverage closure molding operation of Austrian maker of closure molds KTW Group, to Alpla Holding GmbH.

Alpla Holding is part of Alpla-Werke Alwin Lehner GmbH & Co. KG, the European rigid packaging maker based in Hard, Austria.

Husky bought KTW, of Waidhofen, Germany, in early 2011. At the time, Husky officials said they would carry out a strategic review of Injectoplas, also in Waidhofen, to avoid any potential conflict with Husky’s closure-molding customers.

Husky expects the deal to close before the end of the first quarter.

Terms were not disclosed.
